Data visualization: How can something that sounds so boring be so cool? This concept (it’s a student project) for choosing a shipping method shows what rethinking design can do for the environment. Instead of just considering how fast they need it and how much the shipping costs, customers have a clear, easy to understand visualization of exactly what impact their purchase will have on carbon emissions and pollution. We want to see something like this on every online purchase — are you listening, Amazon?
