From journalist Brian Stelter, live-tweeting from the Delaware coast as Hurricane Sandy approaches, comes this important public service announcement. This Rehoboth Beach restaurant is in a mandatory evacuation area, but they wanted to set everyone’s minds at ease.

(Just a sidenote: I have been going to Rehoboth every summer since I was born and I have yet to see anyone in this restaurant. Possibly because people don’t go to delightfully kitsch beach resort towns like Rehoboth to eat caviar. Possibly, and this is my personal theory, because it’s some kind of front for the Russian mafia. Maybe they’re just trying to avoid investigations from nosy, well-meaning neighbors concerned about how the vodka fared.)
