Much like the worldwide party that rocked in the name of erasing African poverty, this day of concerts will be a massive attempt to put a major issue on the map all around the globe. Events will be held on July 7 in London, Washington, D.C., Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, Cape Town, and Kyoto.

According to reports, the acts lined up for this will “dwarf” the star power of Live 8 and Live Aid.
