President Obama slow jammed his accomplishments on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday. His efforts on climate change and renewables got some special love: “The United States has been a leader in developing clean energy to ensure the health of our planet for future generations,” Obama jammed. And then, after listing other achievements: “In short, climate change is real, health care is affordable, and love is love.”

But climate hawks might not appreciate the fact that Obama is “down with TPP” — the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Many enviros object to the trade deal between the United States and some Asian and Pacific Rim nations because, among other things, it would let foreign corporations sue countries over their environmental laws. Even the president’s silky smooth stylings probably aren’t going to change their minds on that.
