The photo of Colombian cyclist Juan Arango — shockingly, you cannot blame this on ‘Murrica — recently surfaced on Reddit. Arango wore the helmet at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, where he won gold in the men’s Omnium one kilometer time trial. Is the eagle helmet responsible for Arango’s win? DUH. (OK, it helps that he’s also a really fast cyclist.)
If you want an eagle helmet of your own, you might be outta luck. The closest thing we can find is this eagle bike helmet — but it’s only for kids. You might just have to hot-glue an eagle on there yourself.
