Jungles in Paris, the new travel site that produced this video, says that these jellyfish colonized an inland lake in Palau, Micronesia, about 12,000 years ago. The lake’s kept briny by underground channels that link to the ocean.
It’s really relaxing to watch, but maybe less relaxing to think about swimming there.
