This company wants to let you see the world from 100,000 feet
If you have an absurd amount of spending money, you may soon be able to see the planet from the edge of space — without using rocket fuel. Starting in 2016, an Arizona startup called World View wants to take space tourists up into the ionosphere in a capsule attached to a helium balloon.
Flights with World View would cost $75,000 for a two-hour trip, but really, can you put a price on the ability to appreciate the beauty of the planet from 19 miles up?
