The wolves at Indiana’s Wolf Creek Habitat rescue program have imprinted on humans — not in the Twilight sense, but in the sense that they’ve become acclimated to living with people from a young age. They can’t go back to the wild, so they just have to band together and hang out, making sounds so spooky they’ll haunt you for the rest of the day.
Uh, we’ve just gone right off the idea of having a beautiful snuggly wolf pet. In fact, we’re going to become crusaders against trying to domesticate wild animals. Activist slogan: “Wolves: Look cute, actually TERRIFYING GHOST DOGS.”
