President Joe Biden signed a proclamation creating a new national monument on Wednesday, protecting acres of federal land in Colorado that provides critical habitat for wildlife like elk and migratory songbirds. The Biden administration also proposed a 20-year ban on mining and drilling on an additional 225,000 acres of public land in the same area. READ MORE
