We’ve seen a lot of videos of Earth from space, and they’re always incredible. But they’re usually set to, like, Vangelis music — which sets the tone, sure, but it’s not very informative. This one, though, has voiceover from NASA scientist Justin Wilkinson, explaining what you’re looking at. So instead of just a lot of pretty video of lights in the darkness, it’s a view of the Middle East, South America, Canada, and the U.S. from a vantage point you’re not likely to see in your lifetime.

Particularly cool things to watch for: lightning storms, oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, and the Aurora Borealis. But Wilkinson will point them all out, so you can mainly just enjoy the ride.
