Since the invention of photography, there have been 35 animal photobombs that were rated the most passionate, the most pure, the most likely to make me pee myself a little bit. This one leaves them all behind.

To be fair to the stingray (it’s a stingray, if you weren’t sure what that E.T.-looking face belonged to), this photo was taken in a part of the Cayman Islands called “Stingray City,” where visitors are offered “the unique experience of touching and feeding a stingray.” So he might quite naturally have assumed he was invited to this party. He’s like “Hey, guys! Are we doing a group photo? Rad! You’ll tag me on Facebook, right?”

Well, I, for one, am extremely happy about this stingray and his lack of social skills. Everyone say “cheese,” and try not to think about Steve Irwin!
