10-year-old invents light-up crosswalks, IBM makes them real
OK, IBM, when it comes to making a video you want people to share, asking cute kids for road safety ideas and then making them real is basically cheating. But adorable Aurora, 10, had a really good concept — crosswalks where the stripes glow and flash! — and then you built it and it was cool and she was happy. So we’ll give you this one.
It almost makes you want to step out in the road at night while a car is coming, which is a little counterproductive. But anyway, better pedestrian infrastructure for all! And especially adorable children.
