Storm Ivar left tens of thousands without power this weekend in Norway, but Norwegians are so hardy that they were out in the shopping district regardless. They are not, however, so hardy — or so heavy — that they were able to stroll around easily in winds so strong that one man was blown off the sidewalk and into the street.

By the end of the video, police are running out to save pedestrians from ending up in Oz — or, more likely, in the middle of the intersection. It’s a little funny watching people walk at nearly a 45-degree angle, because nobody in the video was hurt (though one man was injured in the storm when a tree fell on him), but it’s mostly just a sobering illustration of the power of nature. Don’t fuck with Ivar.
