It’s all very well to talk about the urban jungle, but how often are you supposed to water it? Carmichael Collective’s tongue-in-cheek urban plant tags offer care instructions for metropolitan flora like benches, fire hydrants, stop signs, and mailboxes.

The signs are mostly for giggles, not for actual municipal worker guidance — the park bench sign, for instance, specifies “occasionally wipe clean” but also “keep warm with butt.” But as an art project, they’re a cool, witty way of demonstrating that the urban environment requires care and attention.
