The recording does not do justice to the actual sound. Seriously some of those sounds vibrated my chest. I didn’t realize whales had such a wide frequency of sound. Some were mid to hi frequency and some were very low.

And then seeing the whale, which he described as being the size of a school bus … well, it’s hard to imagine having this experience and not coming away with an increased reverence for all of Earth’s creatures. Unless you’re a krill, anyway.
