Hanna soundtrack

I got into The Chemical Brothers during my strange and intense post-collegiate years — Exit Planet Dust came out in ’96 — and I’ve always associated them with that period. For a lot of people in my demographic they served as a kind entry point into electronic music, something with recognizable rock and hip-hop elements that we newbies could cling to.

I tuned out in ’99 or so, but they’ve been cranking stuff out fairly regularly ever since. Happily, on a whim I checked out the soundtrack they just did for the new movie Hanna. It’s awesome! I’ve always thought they would be well-suited to soundtrack work and I guess I was right.
