Cordaro has painstakingly sought out natural furnishings, paints, and building materials that her clients can use, and her business also helps improve building ventilation and tackle moisture problems that cause mold and mildew. A growing number of environmental consultants are getting into the healthy-home business, as more people find that chemical products, carpeting, paints, and other synthetics make them sick.
