On Friday, it will be in Arizona. The Arizona Corporation Commission is set to vote on a proposed rule to increase the state’s renewable energy standard to 15% by 2025, with 30% to come from distributed energy resources like rooftop solar.

It’s a big deal: the future of renewable energy in Arizona will be decided by majority vote of the five commissioners. We’ve got two leaders, two intransigents, one newly-appointed wildcard, and more intrigue, politicking, and high-flying rhetoric than you can shake a stick at.

And that’s why on Friday, Oct 27, the center of the renewable energy world will be at 1200 W Washington Street in Phoenix.
