Wash. initiatives are going the wrong way

I just heard on NPR that here in Washington, the odious I-933 "regulatory takings" initiative is passing with around 51%, and I-937, the renewable energy measure, is failing with around 39%. WTF is wrong with people? Can this be right?

Chafee goes down

CNN is now calling the New Hampshire Rhode Island [ed. note: typing too fast!] race for Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse -- a big and somewhat surprising defeat for Lincoln Chafee.
