The first thing you will probably notice in this photo is the awesome ad campaign on the back of the bus. We’re totally into this. Every lane is a bike lane! Big metal vehicles should share the road with bikes!

Oh, that’s a bike lane, huh?
Hm.
Still, we don’t want to hate on buses. Cars block bike lanes all the fricking time, and they’re not carrying dozens of people or ads promoting bike travel. And sometimes buses are allowed in bike lanes. And you know what L.A. could probably use? More buses.
So, we’re not mad. Love you, bus. We hope you get your own dedicated lane, too. And maybe then someone will park a giant cargo bike in it with a sign that says “Every lane is a bus lane.”
