As NPR reports, science-class raps are a bit of a trend. New York public schools participated in a contest called Science Genius B.A.T.T.L.E.S.:

The students researched and wrote rhymes about everything from gravity to evolution. Each school sent one group to the finals, where they were judged by a panel that included Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA.

Now, if that’s not worth learning a little science for, we don’t know what is.
