GAY MARRIAGE GOOD NEWS FOR GREENS? President Barack Obama’s announcement yesterday that he supports same-sex marriage fired up many in his progressive base — including greens. While environmental activists are viewing the move as a generally positive one for liberal issues, it may not signal any direct changes on critical issues where the administration hasn’t met their expectations, like an ozone rule or international climate efforts. Some reactions:
