It came out in April that the Koch brothers, those devious, climate-denying bros who made their billions on oil and gas, were considering buying the L.A. Times, Chicago Tribune, and the other six regional newspapers owned by the Tribune Company. Governor Moonbeam!

Even the header categories of Business, Entertainment, and Opinion can’t escape the Koch touch, becoming instead Wealth Management, Hollywood Elitism, and Truth. Grassroots group Forecast the Facts is behind the site, writing, “While the site is intended as satire, this issue is no laughing matter.” Site visitors are prompted to join half a million people in signing a petition telling Tribune’s CEO not to sell to the Koch brothers. So laugh as “Feds Investigate Faulty Headlights on 100,000 Corvettes” becomes “Government Takes Away Drivers’ Right to Choose Alternative Low-Light Headlight Design.” But don’t forget to do something too.
