A few days ago, a fire cut across Weld County, Colo., northeast of Denver. Weld County is relatively flat and dry and produces the most grain out of any county in the state — it’s a high-value agricultural area. So when the fire came through, Eric Howard decided to stop it. Watch:

It worked — sort of. The fire consumed 30 acres of hay field, but Howard’s maneuver saved another 50. Plus now his tractor gets a swanky superhero helmet and cape.
