Pretty much all of Louis C.K.’s humor relies on self-deprecation, so it’s not really surprising that he would shit all over his entire generation in the opening skit of the most recent episode of Louie, his excellent show on FX. He comes face-to-face with a Young Person who — surprise, surprise! — hates baby boomers because of the mess they’ve left everyone else to deal with:
Louis: Alright, well, I’ll just alert my entire generation that your generation needs nothing from us. We will just be on our way.
Store owner: Well, if you could help clean up the environment you ruined on your way out.
